The ISHCMC Rhinos girls’ team equaled their male counterparts and won the championship game at the MRISA tournament at VIS in Vientiane. Their win allows the International School of Ho Chi Minh City to take home both Gold Medals. The plane ride home will be full of smiles. The Rhinos balanced attack and ball handling skills proved to be a bit too much for the host team the, VIS Dragons. Both teams were undefeated entering the championship game. The championship match was very close until two minutes left before the half. Then the Rhinos began to pull away. In the second half the Rhinos controlled the ball and the game winning 21-12. Player #5, Margaret, scored 8 points to lead the Rhinos to victory in a well played game.
