The semi-finals game of the VIS Dragons against the SSIS Dragons was one of the most intense games that happened during this year’s MRISA junior basketball. It started well for SSIS, when Yaya scored two points in the first minutes of the game. The score was 4-3 for SSIS right before halftime, but Nejma from the VIS dragons surprised everyone by scoring two points 10 seconds before the halftime buzzer. The game became extremely tense at the end of the day because the score was 9-9 at the mid point of the second half. Soon, Sheila from VIS made the score 11-9 for VIS. A free throw by Sian of VIS made the score 12-9. In the last minute, everyone, on both sides, could feel the tension. SSIS scored a basket to make the score 12-11. The audience members were screaming, the players were sweating, and everyone was anxious for the final. The last minute was a defensive struggle and VIS held on to reach the final game against ISHCMC.
